- If your submitted site plan is rejected by the building department due to a drafting error on our part, we correct it free of charge within 12 hours.
- If, after correction, your local department still will not accept the plan for a project type we confirmed as eligible before drafting, we issue a full refund.
- Refunds do not apply if your building department requires a stamped, signed, or sealed plan and you ordered a non-certified site plan. We always confirm certification requirements with you before starting work.
When Refunds Apply
We process a refund when any of the following occur:
- Your order is cancelled before we begin drafting.
- We are unable to complete your site plan due to missing or inaccessible property records.
- Your plan is rejected solely because of an error in our drafting, and the issue cannot be resolved through a revision.
- We miss an agreed rush delivery deadline that you paid an additional fee for.
When Refunds Do Not Apply
Refunds are not available in these situations:
- The site plan has already been delivered and accepted by your building department.
- Your project changed after we began drafting, requiring a new plan rather than a revision.
- The rejection is due to zoning restrictions, project scope, or code requirements unrelated to drafting accuracy.
- Your department requires a licensed surveyor or PE-stamped plan and you knowingly ordered a non-certified plan.
- You did not respond to our requests for property details or clarification within 15 days, and the order was closed.
Free Revisions Before Refund
We include free revisions on every order. If your building department requests a change, send us the correction notice and we update your plan within 12 hours at no extra charge. We ask that revision requests be used first, since most issues can be resolved this way without needing a refund.

Once a refund is approved, we process it within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Timing after that depends on your bank or card provider.
PE-Stamped Plan Orders
PE-stamped plans go through an engineering review before delivery. Because these carry an engineer’s seal, refund requests for PE-stamped orders are handled case by case and require a written explanation from your building department.
